USERS' GUIDE TO THE PROGRAM DIMAD
R.V.Servranckx, July 1993,
TRIUMF Design Note TRI-DN-93-K233
Abstract:
... DIMAD is a charged particle optics code to be
used
as a tool in the design of particle beam lines, circular accelerators
and
storage rings. DIMAD uses the matrix formalism of TRANSPORT to define
the
lower order optical elements and the kick approximation for higher
order
multipoles. A symplectification option is available for tracking
purposes.
An elementary simulation of synchrotron radiation losses and space
charge
effects is provided.
